Who this is about
Pikku Prints is a sole trader based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, and is the data controller for anything collected through this website. Questions to hello@pikkuprints.co.uk.
What is collected, and why
When you buy something: your name, email address and delivery address. These are needed to take payment, print your order and post it to you. That is the lawful basis of contract.
When you join the mailing list: your email address only, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw from any email.
When you send an enquiry: whatever you type into the form, kept only as long as the conversation is live.
The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Nothing you do here is sold, shared or used to build a profile.
Who else sees it
Stripe processes the payment. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own pages and never touch this website — Pikku Prints never sees or stores a card number.
PrintShrimp, the print lab, receives your name and delivery address so it can print and post the order. It receives nothing else.
Resend sends the confirmation email. It sees your email address and the contents of that email.
Nobody else. There is no data broker, no advertiser and no mailing list swap.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for six years, because HMRC requires it of any sole trader. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are deleted once they are resolved.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no legal reason to keep it. Email hello@pikkuprints.co.uk and you will get an answer within a month.
If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
